Not sure what a gun wimp is , but I wonder what drove this person to attempt what he did ? 22 years old and a veteran ? Went in at 18 and did his 4 years, wonder what the details of his time in the military where ?

What is causing people like this to snap ? Most of these mass shootings involve a certain age group, I wonder if anything else ties them together ? Mental health issues ? psychotropic drugs ? Depression ?

Suicide by cop. Armed and not targeting anyone until he gets shot himself. Or MK Ultra recruit. Find out why he wanted to commit suicide, what meds he was on, if he had PTSD.

You call him a Gun Wimp. Are you disappointed that he didn’t succeed ?

The article states that he served as infantry from 2015 to 2017. Also just said he was discharged, did not say if it was honorable or some other reason. After that, he went to college and got his Associates. Depending on how that school works, it could take 2 years to get that Associates.

If he's 22, and has been in college since he got out of military in 2017, that means he only served 2 years. I didn't know that you could only do 2 years in the military. They used to have it, but when I went in, they had done away with it. Unless they've changed it back?

I have to question why someone would be stupid enough to try a Federal building that is known for having armed guards there - either he's incredibly stupid, or maybe it was suicide by cop. However, the college states that he was "recognized as an outstanding student at a ceremony in April". Who knows the motive. He's dead now so we can't ask.

Pretty disturbing thread to create about an obviously mentally young man that committed suicide.

Certainly he could have shot at least one person had he wanted to, thankfully he did not.

So OP, you have any other classy remarks to add after mocking the death of this ill young person while trying to somehow malign gun owners as well?

Then this will get buried by the media because it doesn't fit their anti gun agenda

Compassionate people -- We need to address mental health issues in this country.
"creepy" -- Another Gun Wimp bites the dust

SMH

Thanks for helping continue the stigma against mental illness that many on both sides are trying to address.
