Egypt's Mohammed Morsi: Ex-leader buried after court death

Former Muslim Brotherhood leader and "elected" Egyptian president dies, in a Cairo courtoom, in a cage. The U.N. has already demanded an investigation. As was the mainstream press. Where were they when Hosni Mubarak was caged?

Or do people only care when harmful people meet a deserved end?

First, people are upset about what seems to be a suspicious death, not the caging. That doesn't apply with Mubarak.

Second, are you going to claim that the BBC is left-wing?

Why not? Because Mubarak clung to life somehow despite his inhumane treatment?

Yes.

And I don't see why the West has to fight with one or both hands tied behind their back. Mohamed Morsi made a critical error by sticking his thumb in the West's eyes. His country is dependent on the West for tourist, manufacturing and aid dollars. While Obama made some sympathetic noises in the final analysis he could not prop up every oppositional Third World character.
