I will consider voting in upcoming elections for any candidate that wants to end all funding, including all forms of government funding or backhanded rebating of costs associated with electronic medical records (EMR's). As far as I can tell all candidates are for it on all sides. Does anyone know where we can find where the candidates are on this? Thanks....

Maybe the rebates are gone (not sure) but seems still like massive support, even government agencies dedicated to them now looks like. Much to disadvantage of patients since doctors spend all time on the records instead of patient (I am a cancer patient so how well I know), plus such a burden on doctors, nurses and all caregivers to being forced to type in all day and night. With only small benefits to these EMR. They never transfer between hospitals (I have tried), so basically the kind of level of benefit is very small compared to price.

What is truly needed is cutting off all support till they make them work for and not against patients and doctors. I want politicians to wake up on this, EMR's are killing patients, doctors and ruining health care with only minor benefits that to be honest MS word and a free imaging program could do 25 years ago (sure it is different but anyway it still isn't worth the price).

Not sure why my links above didn't work right but anyway:
