Trump should have hired a former Democrat, gay transvestite black woman/man non binary, gender fluid Vegan that converted from a follower of Islam to Judaism before they immigrated to America... BUT no doubt the Lefty press would still find fault and attack the person.

The last press secretary that I remember everyone liking was Tony Snow. I don't remember which president he worked for.
Given the nature of the job, isn't it in the best interest of the person to try to give the point of view of the president? Some of the opposition party (I guess that now includes the press these days) will always try to make it appear that lies are being told. It is extraordinary that virtually most of the MSM is in thrall to the democrats.
it's a thankless job, don't know why anyone would want it, regardless of the party in office.

Not only does she have to be a good liar, she has to ok with repeating obvious lies and being called on it. Sanders never reacted well when presented with the truth. She knew it was wrong to lie, but her ambition overrode that. People targeted her as liar without any ethics due to the way she was willing to lie. She also was a mean nasty beyotch--which did not help.
Maybe this woman is a nice person who refuses to lie, in which case she will not last long.

I don't know the person you refer to, but I don't remember Ari Fleischer, Jay Carney or Josh Earnest having any issues being liked or being accused of lying.
