Why is it so important to the LGBT community that drag queens must be present in libraries and reading to young children?
A drag queen is a person who dresses in drag.
A drag queen reads to kids the same reason a straight man would read to children, because they can read to children.
Why is it so important to you that drag queens not be allowed to read to kids?
We are working towards the day when we can say -- that person came to read and nobody comments on whether they are straight, lgbt or q...they just read.
But to get to that there is a transition where some of you feel threatened because the LGBTQ community fights to make it normal for a drag queen to read to kids.
Why should people be forced to be "COMFORTABLE" around LGBT? If they are not publicly engaged in blatant, in you face affection, or actual sex acts, that's fine. But a percentage of the community feels the need to "show off" their LGBT-ness. Why should I, or anyone have to be comfortable with that?

I get your sensitivity right now with Pride month and it is everywhere.
But day to day when was the last time someone forced fed you their LBGT-ness.
There is some suggestion that today’s high school and college age kids are turning on political correctness of all kinds including on the homosexuals. PC propaganda is embedded in their education, entertainment and its is constantly preached at them. Many of them secretly despise it and openly make fun of PC protected groups. Millennials believe the new Gen z or I gen, whatever we are calling them is on their side. They believe these kids will be their lieutenants in a PC driven socialist revolution. What a shock it would be if this young generation rebels against all this leftist indoctrination they have faced. What if these kids are the key to undoing all this PC. If you think about it many of them must hate it, no one likes indoctrination.
The leftists should not just assume the I Gen belongs to them. Time will tell
But there's no sign that they are going back to church. If anything, they are abandoning religion at a faster rate than millennials.

Those drag queens volunteer to read to children. I have seen women dressed as princesses read to children, or people dressed as clowns, a guy dressed as the man in the yellow hat from curious George, we even had a guy dressed like a GI Joe read to kids. Some people who volunteer to read to children dress in costumes, kids like costumes. Maybe more people should volunteer to read to children.
Just like last year, it's not that people in general dislike the LGBT community, it's just that people are tired of the perception that the LGBT community themselves are intolerant and seem to revel in making people uncomfortable. It's one thing to seek acceptance, another to get in people's faces demanding 'rights' and delight in shocking them.
The LGBT community does not want acceptance- they want conquest and conversion.
Like most in the liberal tent, they cannot tolerate any views that do not coincide with their perception of the world. So you must not only tolerate homosexuality, you must celebrate and recognize homosexuality as a superior lifestyle.
Libs are totalitarian by nature, so all of their agendas end up along these hostile, aggressive avenues.

I used to donate money to LGBT rights group... The level of hate coming from them with constant victimhood from Trump when he has done nothing other than being elected has influence me to never give to any LGBT cause again...
Straight people read to children and march in the streets looking like idiots all the time.
