Most population growth has been in Africa, India, China, Indonesia, etc
...with India way out in the lead....unless you count all of Africa....then Africa is way out in the lead

1 Limit global economy that uses mass amount of international shipping and have countries use more local resources for food and products

2 restrict size of families allowed

3 regulate thermostats to they can only go as low as 80 degrees in summer and 60 degrees in winter so that all the elite rich suffer like everybody else.

4 fuel rationing cards

5 ban cruise ships

6 ban sports like auto racing that uses fuel just for sport

7 shut down all production of power except hydro and solar and wind and get people use to blackouts

8 ban pleasure boating

9 ban gasoline cars and mandate electric ones

10 buy a gun to protect yourself when all that is implemented and the economy and society breaks down

McGowdog,

Classic post! The only thing missing was to say "Period" at the end.

Im curious where you get your scientific information on this subject since you are apparently an expert. Im guessing that its from listening to conservative talk radio? If its the internet, what web pages?

You did not post a shred of evidence that supports your "false" claim.
Did you?

Again, why are people still building beachfront properties?

I am not your google monkey.

You know you have no idea why.

All those beachfront properties are funded by some of the smartest people in the world, bankers, financiers, engineers. Are they all stupid to build something just to be under water in 12, 30, or 50 years?

Your claim was worrying about a 1°F rise. I simply pointed out that no one in science is worried about a 1°F rise in global temps.

We are worried about a 1.5°C to 2°C rise in global temps.

Since 1°F= -17.2°C this is a rather nonsensical thing to state. Since -17.2°C is not a rise in temp it's a decrease with respect the Celsius scale which is the scale us scientists use.

Please learn the difference between the Fahrenheit scale and Celsius scale and how to convert between the two.

Climate scientists are concerned about a .5°C, 1.5°C and 2°C rise in global temps. Not a 1°F rise.
currently we are about 59'f global average....every other interglacial period has peaked at about a global average of 73-75'f....

so there is nothing to worry about, we are still cooler than most of the interglacial periods
