The most recent surveys say 4.5 percent, but keep in mind even in an anonymous setting there will still be those that will not be truthful, especially as far as those that have bi-sexual tendencies. Now if you break down the survey, the millennials which would most likely to be more candid then previous generations show 8.2 percent identify as part of the LGBT community.

Yeah, that's very weird.

For even a semi-accurate number I think you should poll only those from 16-35 or so because older than that many have made decisions and/or become less sexual, etc. which skew the results.

Taken that way, I think a 5 or 6% number (at least) would be evident with maybe another couple being bi or anything goes......

Taken across the entire populations (since most all of us eventually go through those sexual years), that would be about 20 million, although many may be suppressed and not sexual at all or not know it, etc.

Either way, it's 2 to 3X the number of Jews.....a larger number than Mormons and much larger than population like the Amish.

And all of those groups "matter"....

^^^^^This. The entire deflection of "IDENTIFYING" as something is invalid. There are Gays, Lesbians, Bi, and a very few actual Trans. The entire group makes up NO MORE than 3% if that. Take out the poseurs who "identify" as whatever.

You act like nobody else is reading this exchange. Stop accusing people of having issues with things, when they've posted noting to suggest it.
