I still find it scary that people want to sensor free speech so badly especially when it goes against what they believe in. There was a point in time where America fought to preserve free speech regardless of view point. It would be one thing if she were expressing racism in the classroom or at a school function or even in the capacity as a teacher.

She was not doing as such and the views she was expressing were not that radical incendiary or offensive.

Diversity of thought can be meaningful for a discussion.

This former teacher is quite confused. When confronted, she claims her blog was satire. How was what she was saying on her blog satire? Or was her 'teaching style' satire? She sounds like she doesn't know what she was doing.

Meanwhile, on her blog she says this:

Quote:
I get it because if it were the other way around with with leftist I would be paranoid with my own kids but at the same time I wouldn't try to get the teacher fired I just I just coach my own kids at home and say listen if this is what you're hearing here's the other side ...
She brought her students into the deception she was attempting to pull off with the school administrators when they came to her class after receiving complaints from her students' parents.

Her students were supposed to pretend what was happening was not happening? What about her students' free speech? They were not supposed to discuss what they were being taught with their parents? Or with the school administrators?

She admits she would be "paranoid" if "it were the other way around".

She doesn't sound like she knows what she was doing.
