Hopefully they can find out who did it to bring some felony assault charges and put more antifa thugs in jail. Possibly sue the Portland mayor & city of Portland for millions if he had any part and telling the cops to not intervene. Putting people in jail and hitting their wallets is the best way to deal with the violence of these low life antifa street thugs, not more violence.

That the police did NOTHING to stop the assault on this man is unconscionable and a violation of the oath they took when they became police officers. If this is how they are going to roll, they should just disband the police department and let anarchy rein. Are there no good people in Portland who would challenge the mayor on down for allowing this inaction to result in serious injury to a journalist who was trying to cover the news?

It's like we've fallen back into the Jim Crow South. There's a bunch of angry violent *******s all dressed in the same color and all covering their faces. They are violently attacking and terrorizing people. They are delusional, thinking that huge swaths of the US population are evil and that they must be suppressed at all costs. Virtually all of this exists only in their own minds. Meanwhile, the police are completely ignoring their criminal behavior, even going so far as to take their side at times. And we have multiple mayors and government leaders defending their indefensible actions. The only difference I'm seeing is that this new KKK (Antifa) dresses all in black and not white, and the target for their violence is almost entirely imaginary.
Here is a question. In many cases when we go to a public event be it a concert, a rally, a road race or other public outdoor event we are stopped for a security check and in most cases things like back packs are not allowed.
How can these antifa thugs be allowed to walk around wearing masks?
If you wear a mask and it is not Halloween then you are probably up to no good and the Police should be able to detain you.
When the old man was beat up by the antifa thugs it was reported that the cops didn't step in to stop it.
Here is an idea the next time masked antifa clowns turn up at a rally or protest the cops turn their backs and let the crowd take care of those Bozos . The cops can pick up the pieces.
