Unprecedented, and could smooth the way for helpful talks in the near future. The president assures us he gets along well with Kim, Erdogan, Putin, and similar others and that it's a good thing because otherwise we would be at war "and that's a certainty". "It's a great day for the world."
Yeah, I been hearing since before the 2016 election that "Trump was going to make all these deals". Granted, his first term still has about a year and one-half to go. The problem is that I don't see the deals.
No deal with North Korea. No deal with Iran (situation has gotten worse). No trade agreement with China.
On the other hand, Kim has gotten recognition he would not otherwise have gotten because Trump has now met with him three times. Not bad for a murdering butcher.
Trump stepped over the DMZ for a few minutes and met with Kim in the Freedom Hall, this was nothing but a giant photo OP. All he has is an agreement to meet later. Why didn't he just call him on the phone instead of wasting all this money for security for a meeting that lasted a short time.
Nobody says it better than Tucker Carlson right? "You've got to be honest about what it means to lead a country, it means killing people. A lot of countries commit atrocities, including our allies."
Carlson adds, 'it's silly and stupid to point out KJU is 'so mean''
