She should not be listening to any top secret anything between leaders nor commenting on it. She has no permissions from the us Govt to do so. Simple remarks can carry A lot of weight. BTW you think the other countries see it as good thing?

She has a degree from Harvard they say. You know the place that thinks diversity means everyone looks different but thinks the same.

"They" are wrong. She doesn't have a degree from Harvard.

But that doesn’t mean she has the training to be a diplomat, especially a high level one. If he was going to appoint her it would have made more sense to put her in charge of something business related, or something involving “raising awareness” paired with light policy work, like being in charge of “women’s issues”. Maybe even as his personal assistant. I thought that was what she was supposed to be doing.

People study and work in the field for years to be in the rooms she was in this weekend.

As for AOC, the House is supposed to be where the rabble rousers/populists go to serve a couple of years - more if you can swing it. All you have to do is be the right age, have the right residency, and run an effective campaign. So she’s qualified to be member of the House whether anyone likes her or not. Now the Senate... she doesn’t have the experience for that yet IMO.
Yes. I 100% agree with the bolded. Ivanka is an attractive and poised woman but she has no qualifications to engage with other world leaders on anything. According to John Kelly, she rarely attended mandatory meetings.

This is NOT a banana republic and the First Daughter has NO business inserting herself into world affairs.

Imagine if Hillary had sent Chelsea to ANYTHING involving world leaders. The RW would have had a collective meltdown. And they know it.

Apparently many people totally agree with AOC.

Time to vote out Princess Ivanka and Jared. They are an embarrassment to the country, along with a childish president who needs to drag his daughter and inlaws to official state visits, because he cannot be left on his own and is insecure without his spawn by his side.

I agree with you on this. As an advisor she is naturally privy to a large amount of information, but sensitive top secret information intended only for specific personnel should always be kept from anyone not on the “need to know” list.

The only one less qualified than Ivanka is her nebbish frat-boy husband Jared.

Haha, I love how those 4 real world leaders look at her and then totally ignore her. They are probably talking about how to handle serious world issues, and she is "Did I tell you guys about my line of makeup ? We have 36 new shades !"

In the other corner of the room, her dad is talking to another bunch of world leaders, who are engaged in another serious conversation, and he says " Did you guys hear about Ivanka's newest line of makeup ? We brought some free samples to hand out !"

Has Ivanka said anything remotely negative about AOC? Even in response to AOC's completely unprovoked attack?

Ivanka exhibits class that AOC can only dream of.

Excuse me but the voters voted in OC while Ivanka only got the job she has now because her daddy hired her. Does anyone really believe that if there was an open competition for Ivanka's job that she would have beat out the scads of people in the State Department who have been doing this their entire lives and who have advanced degrees from Harvard in International Relations? Ivanka is a fashion queen, nothing more. She has no business representing the US in things she knows nothing about and could not even get a legitimate security clearance for. It is a disgrace that Trump is more concerned with his family having nice jobs than he is with making sure the US has the best qualified people to engage in international relations.
