CA has changed so much I can't wait to scoot. I will admit it's been a money maker for me but the politics here have went off the deep end. We out. I got one a senior in HS so we are almost able to escape. I'll get a home on another State and live here in the winter while avoiding the politics. I'm a gun owner which should say it all. That and I drive a large truck. No more stupid 1000 dollar registration, gun laws, paying for illegals. I'll stay at my kid's house or a family park in a 50,000 dollar luxury travel trailer 4 months of the year and avoid that stupidity. If it gets even worse I can easily shift out for good.
I've paid my share. I'm getting a cabin in Reno and spend the winter in San Diego for about 600 a month.
What you're saying is: you just can't leave CA completely, no matter how much it turns you off.
Registration is $1000? LOL It's been a while since I needed to register one but here in PA that's probably what it would cost for a very large single axle vehicle in the 35KGVW range. Once you go past that weight you start getting into the need for a triaxle.
