Thanks, I guess that’s the point. Why resister a hand gun can not an Assault weapon.

It doesn't matter if anyone needs to own them. The 2nd Amendment says nothing about need. It says "shall not be infringed."

Relax. Shooters will always have their rights. A classroom full of 2nd graders....not so much.

Where does your militia train and who is your commander?
The SC Heller decision affirmed your right to own a gun but that same decision supports gun regulations. Not being able to buy a gun from a vending machine is infringement is it not?

Registration is to help prosecutors after the crime has been committed. It does nothing to prevent crime.

Violation of mandatory registration becomes a reference point for prosecution.

Odd how gang members and career criminals are never charged with having an unregistered firearm? Could it be NY exempts gang members and criminals from gun laws?

Instant felons some prosecutor and activist judge will treat as if they were a gang member who repeatedly committed murder. Surely some activist judge and prosecutor will make an 'example' of an otherwise law abiding citizen with an unregistered assault weapon. Revenge justice, create an instant felon out of an administrative gun law violator and lock him up with an MS-13 gang member.

At least chris Christie got rid of one activist anti gun judge from NJ, if he did nothing else, he deserves credit for that move.

Be sure to vote socialist democrat!

Be sure to stay home and not vote, Cory Booker and Kamala Harris need your vote. Note that Newark NJ under CB had its murder rate rise to 2 plus a week from an average of one murder a month since the 1960s. Nj has a 3 year mandatory and very strict gun laws. Looks like laws do nothing to prevent crime. just make it easier for prosecution after the crime.

Perhaps crime and gun violence is much more complex a problem that legislators capability to understand. Thus the prosecutorial rage against non criminals with firearms and the willing sacrifice of innocent lives to achieve a theoretical state of no guns, therefore no gun violence.

Do you need a car that goes over the speed limit, or a larger house than required, most of the stuff you have? The 2A is so citizens have at least a chance of defending themselves against a tyrannical government. The theory being, that they should have at least what a common foot soldier would carry. Rifle, handgun, ammunitions, cutting tools, small explosives, etc.

Most people are not asking to be able to carry mortars, rocket launchers, and land mines around. You are again arguing in the ABSURD EXTREME like many liberals due to end the argument, and demonize the opponent, like when they say Republicans want "dirty air and dirty water". Ridiculous.

Why are you forcing children into unsafe prison like environments? Children and their parents don't have many rights in your world.

And No one has the right to initiate violence, something you have obviously never learned.
