That someone would even post a poll such as this is asinine. Who the hell thinks there's a better country that the USA? The precepts set forth in our constitution fits ALL men despite who wrote it.

LBJ was perhaps one of our most vocally racist presidents in history. However, his actions as president earns him the legacy of champion for civil rights and liberties... attributed for the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

While the Constitution may have been written by mostly white affluent slave owners, I still believe it was written with all people in mind with provisions in place to adjust/improve on it with the passage of time.
The main thing was the founding father knew it needed to change whether by being thrown out at somepoint or constant amendments. By averages, we are due for a change and I think number will come after Trump leaves office.

Not too familiar with the Constitution. I assume 10 and 14 are important. With regards to 14 I know it applies to equal rights.

In case some are under the impression that overhauling or scrapping the constitution in favor of a new document more suited to today's politics is not something elements of the left are calling for...

The Constitution Needs a Reboot

The presidency of Donald Trump illustrates the problem with this veneration. It is not that Trump lacks for critics, but that the Constitution does. Not enough people connect the dots between our political dysfunctions and the sacred Constitution of 1787.
The most obvious problem is the Electoral College...
It also makes a president nearly impossible to remove...
The Constitution’s dysfunction extends far beyond any individual president. Thanks to its variety of “veto gates,” the document makes it nearly impossible to pass legislation truly meeting the problems...
The Constitution has its errors of omission as well....

14 was created to deal with slaves born in the country to extend them citizenship. Now it's abused by pregnant women coming to the country to guarantee their kids will be a citizen.
