I sense a lot of jealousy in this post.

bezos is worth billions. amazon makes billions. I'm no Bernie sanders socialist, but I do think it would make sense for bezos to share more of the profits with the workers in his company.

And what’s wrong with class warfare? The working class didn’t declare this war...the corporatocracy did. And the working class has every right to fight back with the tools they have. Amazon has an arsenal of weaponry at their disposal and they use all of those weapons with extreme prejudice.

You’re fighting for the wrong team bud!! The team you’re fighting for isn’t the team you belong to. The Amazon employees are your team no matter what you say. Jeff Bezos isn’t your partner. He thinks he’s your overlord, and you’re playing right into his hands.
Sounds like a lot of entitlement on your end.

Take advantage of the opportunities this country provides, and quit acting like you are owed.

Bezos provides wages in exchange for skills.

If your skills don't command the wage you want, go out and get those skills instead of demanding charity.

Hell, you actually don't even need skills for a decent wage since there of plenty of aweful jobs that pay well.

Go cut line on a survey crew, and you'll be making $20 an hour within a year or less.

These people are making up to $20 an hour for a unskilled entry level job. They previously asked for a raise and they got it. Amazon has no problem filling the positions and if better jobs are out there they are free to pursue them. There are millions of unfilled openings around the country.

Whatever assets Amazon or Bezos has is not relevant. Shareholders who invest in the company get back a return on the profits. Not entry level workers who don't have skin in the game.

I understand your point, but there comes a time when people will revolt when they work hard, and amazon employees work very hard, to make very little and the ceo makes billions. paying people well keeps stability in the country. If workers feel abused long enough.....watch out. History is full of revolts against the elite and it never ends well.....for the elite.

They wanted $15/hour and they got it. If they don't like it they can quit and go look for another job.

What they are doing is no different than a factory line..there are quotas to be met by each worker.
It's not a job where you can sit at your desk and stare out the window or surf the internet.

Generally speaking, it ends with the workers being much worse off.

I think we are at a turning point on income inequality in the US. It may be a decade, more/less, before workers revolt if wages don't improve relative to the CEOs salaries. My opinion and just a feeling.
