Many people including the President, most likely share the same feeling as the Dutch newspaper and how this purple hair player is perceived by the public in Holland!

Who cares what those nutsock Dutchies who just got their asses handed to them on a world stage think? You think they're going to like American players responsible?

The President doesn't like her because she practically told him to go **** himself. Didn't she refuse a White House visit. He doesn't like anyone that does that.

Besides if we care what the Euros think about anything, lets start with what they think about the orange groper/accused rapist President of yours.

Megan Rapinoe is a breath of fresh air from an American athlete. What’s not to love about her? She’s tough, competitive, expects to win and doesn’t accept anything less, and she’s not mealy mouthed.

Europeans have a taste for a different kind of female athlete. The less in your face type. That ain’t our girls. USA women’s soccer doesn’t abide shrinking violets and pearl clutching debutantes. Our soccer players handle their business.

So really, I don’t care what they think about our athletes just like you guys don’t care what they think about Trump.

She got the Golden Boot for the most goals of anyone in Cup play, and also gave Trump the Golden Boot. What’s not to like?

I like her. My girls admire her. That's enough for me.

Not really, European football isn't about shrinking violets.

The British game was always very physical, and the game today is more about shrinking violets and diving today than it used to be whether it be men or women.

Back in the day teams like Leeds United and Chelsea ended players careers never mind getting in their faces and a punch in the face, an elbow, headbutt, two footed tackle and kick in the head were all part of the game.

Today players just fall or dive over if another player even goes near them.

Even today if you want to see real hatred just go to some of the derby games such as Millwall v West Ham, Leeds v Man Utd, Rangers v Celtic etc etc.

My God, a strong, assertive, intelligent, articulate woman speaking her mind ! What next, women getting the right to vote ??

If this were a man doing exactly the same thing, he would be praised to high Hell.
