I think it would be hypocritical of them to visit the President if they despised him and what he stands for as an individual.

It's their prerogative. Let the players who like the President go, and leave the others out of it and don't make a big deal about it, either.

Interesting pic in post #25. Trump and his bestie brutal murderer Kim Jung-un making fun of a liberal. But the true meaning of this pic is that Trumpies worship brutal dictators.

Ah, yes, blame the fake news.

All this complaining but no one still hasn't disagreed with what was said. They mentioned America being great from only a select few so why do we want to go back to that? Are you saying that America was great for everyone back then?

The complete and irrational intolerance is being shown by some of the members of the metric football team speaks for itself. To them, only a few people count as Americans.

Trump has been quite gracious in congratulations and invitations to the nation's first home. They return it with spittle. It does indeed speak for itself.

What if Megan Rapinoe was Pro Life and used her team, the World Cup, and the game of soccer to make Anti Abortion statements before, during and after a game to the national and international media. Or make displays during the National Anthem to show she was Pro Life. Is that OK?

So you don't agree with Rapinoe's statement that Trump is not supportive of citizens who look like her? So much of the problem is Trump is only the president for his base and those who love him, to hell with the rest of the country. That's how someone who is intellectually stunted and immature acts. No wonder people are protesting him.

Rapinoe is after notoriety and a Nike contract. It is all about money, and her personal greed, and narcissism.
She already has sponsorship from Nike, as well as Samsung.

You can't play any card. I noticed that half of this thread are people disparaging and attacking all those who do not worship the orange king. That is the way dictators like it.

I actually think the women's team have been very restrained regarding their politics, especially the gay players. The admin is actively attempting to strip the gay community of civil rights, so of course they don't like him. It would be like telling black people to go have dinner with George Wallace.

The women's team is way more popular than Trump over a wider spectrum of demographics nationally and internationally. I watched little boys at the parade talk about the importance of women's equality, pay and rights, and it so so obvious that Trump, his followers, his culture, are the past.

These kids are the future, and they are going to reject the regression and ancient bigotry that the old white male power structure is attempting to hold onto.

Nike sold more team jerseys than any other shirt in their history. If anyone thinks that this team is going away or people are turning against them--they'd be wrong, and there is nothing Trump can do or say that will change that.

They are bigger winners than he is, and he will probably slink away back to his tv watching and stop attempting to bash them.
