This is a reasonable position for any politician or high profiled person !!! Its also the backlash that some were saying would take place due to false allegations and political smears without evidence !!!

I would do the exact same thing these days with the way things have gotten. Not for religious reasons but because of all of the false accusations out there. This is what they get for all of the BS.

I was thinking different, as in he cannot trust a woman due to the potential for false accusations.

Smart rule; cant get "kananaughed" if you're never alone with a woman that's not your wife.

Yes, the SJW/PC crowd will find some way to blame him for this. After all, it appears he is a straight white male. According to the rabid SJWs/PC warriors out there, straight white males are the root evil of society.

Well I worked for a Fortune 500 corp. They had a 0 tolerance policy. Never, ever, conduct a one on one with female employees if you are male. You will always have a third person in the room if the authority figure is male. That was to protect the company and the male. That has been a policy since at least 2000 when I was moving up and went to leadership training.

In today's climate where all a female has to do is accuse (Ford v Kavanaugh) you would have to be insane to risk it.

It isn't about self control, it is all about climate and self preservation.

My son is a welder and chances are slim that he will ever be a females supervisor, but I have coached him, if he ever is, never do 1 to 1 interviews or confrontations with a female.

The #MeToo movement has made the case for such common sense protection. It's becoming a more common thing with corporate travel arrangements as well.

I had this policy more than 20 years ago when I was in the corporate world. Takes the issue right off the table!

I actually do like the idea of a guy accompanying a woman, especially a reporter, like that. However, both parties have to make sure they don't phys. attack/sexually assault the other party or falsely pull the #MeToo card.
