Black rag dolls that came with instructions to "find a wall" and slam the toy against it have been pulled from three stores after customers and a lawmaker said they were offensive.
State Assemblywoman Angela McKnight, a Democrat whose district includes Bayonne, called the dolls "offensive" and "inappropriate" after seeing a post on social media.
Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis said in a Facebook post that the dolls were "insensitive" and "can certainly be considered racist."
But anyhow, in this hypersensitive age we live in, how could anyone not know some would be offended? I mean, a black colored doll?? Come on now, so obvious.
Normally, I think people see way more than is there in these kinds of stories, but seriously, they use pan African colors on the top of the heads of these black dolls. How else could anyone view that?
In addition to that, why have any doll that you "slam against the wall"? What even is that? If you're so aggravated, go join a boxing center and get your frustrations out that way.

I’m not real big on screaming “I’m offended”, nor am I very quick to “pull the race card”. That doll is a racist symbol. I do not believe for a minute it’s looks are a coincidence.

I'm gonna have to side with the complainers on this one. They should have made the doll a color that no actual person is, like blue or purple.
Dolls in general are all known racists. Especially the white Ken dolls.
