You just not getting it. All state and locals go after criminals. When that idiot shot 2 policemen in Tampa all Feds, local and county went on the hunt together . - you give me one incident where true public safety was at risk and they did not work together, just one?
You have to move the politics from the realities. Unfortunately- most folks especially on CD have no clue of the facts. And as their leader perfectly stated - could shoot 5 and still get their votes -trumpettes eat anything he dishes out. It’s simple no state money for fed raids

And what should be done with a business who knowing employs and houses illegals? After the owners of Shipley donuts paid a fine, the owners were named man of the year.

A popular restaurant chain knew when the CBP was coming, so they put illegals on a bus and shipped them to another town to work. The chef or kitchen manager got caught and deported. The restaurant got him back in, illegally.

What about these kinds of business owners? IMO, they should be jailed and their assets seized.

The line is illegals vs criminals. MrT has convinced you they all are criminals. So are then those that break any laws to include speeding, not paying your taxes, hiring the illegals , those breaking the Hatch act.
Commiting a crime is always breaking the law, but breaking a law is not always a crime.
Not all fall under the same hat. Ask the deported veterans who served the us military.

A bunch of county sheriffs in my state have announced refusal to enforce a package of gun laws that was passed by voters last year. Liberals, be careful what you wish for when you trash 'rule of law.'
The DEAs relationship with the drug cartels would be a good example of treason.

DEA aids and abetts the drug cartels thru the US justice system and its laws, it ensures the US remains a profitable marketplace for the cartels and also targets any competition that may arise (like the pharma companies, opioids).

That's quite a stretch.

Legal immigrants and citizens might break a speeding law, or not pay their taxes, murder someone...and there are legal repercussions for doing so.

The legal repercussion for being in this country illegally, is to be sent back to the county from which you came from. Especially if you have committed another illegal act while illegally living in the US.

As it should be.

Sometimes that is what it takes.
I'm not a lib.

I also don't think unchecked illegal immigration is a good thing.

I just respect the Constitution. I'm not making a moral statement on what I think should be done. If you want Sanctuary states/cities to be illegal the Constitution must be amended.

Any proof that the Drug Enforcement Agency actually helps the cartels? If they do, then also go after the politicians that put prohibitions on drugs as well. When exactly has the DEA gone after big pharma? If anything big pharma with all the opioids helped this more than the DEA. Sounds like you bought into some shoddy conspiracy theory there rstevens.

It would be obstruction if the people doing this were not officials and officers sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution and the law. Since they are sworn officials and officers that makes it treason. They are aiding foreign nationals in evading justice by other sworn officers of the law using their offices and stations to do so. THAT is treason.

Every person who is harmed by an illegal alien released by state and local authorities, despite that person have an ICE detainer and/or removal order, should sue the crap out of that state or local authority, all over the damn country.
