Telling natural born Americans to "go back" to the country of their ancestry is a textbook xenophobic comment. How about Donny goes back to fix Germany? And I'm in no way a supporter of "justice Democrats" that are hell-bent on turning the US into diet-Venezuela.

Exactly. You can criticize the president's language without lying/intentionally mischaracterizing his language. There was nothing racist about his language. Period. Just for giggles, though, I note that the president's tweet attacked people of multiple races, including a black (Ilhan Omar), a white (AOC is a white Hispanic), and an Arab (Rashida Talib).

Note, the Dems continue to fall for the president's shred news-changing tweets. This tweet takes media attention off the immigration raids and "family separation" and onto several spoiled Democrat bratty congresswomen who hate America.

Trump is totally guilty of speaking in random vague tones. He is. That seems to make progressives positively apoplectic. Most people recognize what he meant vs what he actually said in these situations, but some pedantic turds just can’t ever get over his speech gaffes, and live in TDS limbo. Of course these are the same people who think putdowns against Muslims are racism, so they too seem to suffer from some language shortcomings.

A country of origin and a race are two different things. So although what he said was in poor taste. Racist? no.

But to the democrats everything and everyone white is racist. Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, etc. So I am not surprised.

What Trump actually said. NOT Filtered through the crooks at Yahoo or CNN or the easily influenced who believe them without thought or question.
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 14, 2019
....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 14, 2019

....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 14, 2019

Only the permanently outraged would think that is racist. Real America doesn't. The people telling us this is racist would be the same ones who call 10s of millions of their fellow Americans, Deplorable, Basement Dwellers, Super Predators, Taco Bell people and so forth.

Trump's statements in this article are racists because he is saying that these women of color do not belong in this country, that they have no right to engage in civil discourse. In truth, all but Omar were born in this country, and all are citizens. He is saying that people of color, whose ancestors came from somewhere non-white don't belong here, even if they are citizens. Nativist, racist thinking. Of course, he doesn't apply the same thinking to white people who have immigrated (like his wives) or white people who had parents who immigrated. He only applies it to non-whites.

Once again, his base thinks this is OK, because that is the way they feel - that non-whites don't belong here. They love Trump because he is their mouthpiece.

He absolutely did not say they don't belong in this country. In fact he said exactly the opposite. I just posted what he said.

So prove otherwise.

Trump's tweet is 100% racist. He was not just referring to Rep. Omar because he referred to the progressive "Congresswomen" in the plural form. This means his "go back to where you came from" insult includes natural born Americans like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Tlaib.

Anytime you tell a black natural-born US citizen to "go back to Africa," that's racism. Telling natural-born US citizen AOC to "go back to Puerto Rico," that's racism.

Up until now Trump's racism has been suggested through dog whistles and innuendo. This is first time he's used racist language openly that I can recall. It is now official: Donald Trump is a racist.
