As if this is a surprise. Most mayors of Chicago for many years now have been this bad or worse. And now they step up their asinine attitude wanting to go against the current LAW and not go along with the ICE round up of law braking illegals. There is NO excuse but as usual the leftist socialist crud of the country are uniting against common sense AND the law. Enjoy your city as it crumbles into anarchy. That's the direction you're headed. Sadly on par with the likes of San Francisco, New York, and the others run by these morons. When you speak to people in other countries about Chicago they don't bring up Chicago's legendary deep dish Pizza. (My favorite thing about Chicago). They always bring up crime. Chicago is famous for it's gun violence.
Actually, undocumenteds have a LOWER crime rate than US citizens. So the more of them we have the lower the crime rate. Applying for asylum is not illegal, by the way.
