Bad as it is that the powerful are presented as inherently better than all other species, things get substantially worse once the hyenas are introduced. Our paper presents opposing views on lots of topics...how do I decide which one the paper supports unless it is an editorial by the editorial dept.
In this case The Washington Post shared a controversial opinion piece from an author. It doesn't mean that the editorial department or the paper in general supports that view.
