Yes, of course. It's okay to insult this country (especially the southeastern portion of the country), but it's not okay to insult any other country. Why is that?

Yes of course this is much about Trump who can generate a debate like this, but far more concerning than Trump is just how many Americans are confused about what it really is to be racist, or not. No wonder the problem of racism is still as prevalent as it is, and/or such a problem.
Apparently there are still too many Americans today who are hardly different from racists back in the day. People who didn't think there was ANYTHING wrong with their racist notions. Didn't even really recognize them as racist let alone wrong. Really doesn't matter how the issue has evolved to this day, though you would think we would know better.
The problem is the mentality and perspective that prevents people from recognizing racism or knowing what racism is really all about. As such, people who are racist can't even tell. That or they really don't see the wrong in racist comments, tweets or their own way of thinking. Not sure what can be done about that sort of ignorance...
Really, you white liberals should be thankful for Trump. He gives you a chance to shout "RACIST" at someone, and make yourselves feel better about living in lily-white neighborhoods and sending your kids to lily-white schools. And the fact that you could probably count the number of black people whom you've had a conversation with on one hand.

I do think that it is wrong for Omar to pound away at America and cast it as some miserable, racist crime ridden horrible place while half the people in her homeland are struggling to live to see tomorrow. If given a chance a majority of her "people" would jump at a chance to come to live in America despite how bad she sees it as being.
Admittedly I'm not really up on these things, so I'm curious: what negative comments has she made about the country?
