What can you "despair" about? I mean sure, it is depressing, but the time to be concerned is long since passed.


The focus has moved from attempts to limit climate change to actions to prevent climate change from disrupting our cities, our shorelines, our industry and our ability to produce food.


In other words, we are limiting the damage from climate change as opposed to limiting climate change. Perhaps when it hits corporate P&L's (like Microsoft's inability to produce because they can't get fresh water) the proverbial light will go on.


But then what? And at what cost? No longer time to despair.
