As much as I like pointing fingers at Trump, Spencer is just keeping the seat warm for Esper, who's been officially nominated and can't hold the post while the confirmation process is taking place - this is SOP.

Esper, on the other hand, is 100% certified Swamp Animal, Raytheon's chief lobbyist from 2010-2107. Hey, that pork doesn't move itself, does it?
