A noose creeps me out as I know people use them things to hang themselves too. It is creepy to me . I don't get a good feeling when I see a noose. They used to hang people at public lynchings.. of all colors.
i wholeheartedly agree. at this rate, offense-seeking may soon qualify as an Olympic sport.
Americans are living the best quality of life ever, and yet our young population is too eaten up with brainwashed guilt to see it, enjoy it, and be thankful for it. Instead they actively seek things in which to become offended and unhappy. They’ve been trained by a global audience on social media to be ashamed of their nationality and success and to live in cowed-down shame. It’s a hideous brainwashing that has healthy, prosperous, successful young people walking around proclaiming how bad life is. It’s mental illness.
Ridiculous. A rope with a noose hanging at the bottom of a display rack, near the floor is in no way a display of racism, nor lynching. These people now realize they can get attention, and/or make money from PRETENDING to be offended, outraged traumatized, etc. It is a joke, and the MEDIA promotes it!
The only thing shocking here is that the link is to local news.
Especially with the Trump crap going on this would make an awesome side story to throw up on the CNN front page along with some suggestion that it was a Trump supporter that made the noose or that he's empowering noose makers etc.

This is exactly the kinds of stories that get CNN ratings and part of the reason I dumped them after 25+ years and moved to Reuters.

The noose was so low that it was CLEARLY intended as a threat towards black toddlers.
