Depends. If it's one of the whack jobs taking up the lime light at the moment, then yeah, I might be making plans of betraying the US and joining Russia. But, if it's someone like JFK, then I'll be willing to give them a chance.

But the sad thing, the Republicans aren't any better. Nixon started the War on Drugs which have become a nightmare. And he also signed the EPA into law, which drove thousands of businesses to outsource.
Under Reagan, he too didn't do anything to curb the jobs leaving, and then the first Bush was the one that wrote NAFTA, Bill Clinton only signed the damn thing.
Even the Obamacare we hate, was based on Republican Mitt Romney's state health plan, so I do believe we would have been given a shady deal no matter who was elected president. Heck, I remember Obama saying he was going to get us out of the Middle East wars and get rid of NAFTA. A few short months later after his first election, he was already walking back on those two promises, which made me realize, these presidents don't mean anything. They are not running the show, and neither is congress. It's a group of elite globalist who are running the show, and they control the FBI and CIA and use them to keep these politicians in line. Remember when Trump said he was going to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan? As soon as the Israeli prime minister went on the world stage and cried it would be a mistake, Trump walked back on his plan.
Here's the way I see it. I'm 67 now, so I'll be 72 when Trump is done and I'll be 80 by the time Nikki Haley finishes her two terms. After that I won't much care, so if the Dems get their heads screwed on straight and actually win, I can cash in on all their free stuff.
I heard about Haley being a possible candidate. I'm just still not too crazy about a woman president. Us women tend to be too emotional, and weak at times, and when we are dealing with the alpha males of China and Russia, do we really want a weak president?
You like their finances better? They like them too, which is why they funnel it from the treasury to themselves with tax breaks for the top percent and take payola from Corporate America and Wall Street banksters in exchange for allowing their lobbyists to write policy.
Did you also like that Bush took Clinton's surplus and started two unpaid for wars which created a tremendous deficit? How did that work out for the USA's "finances?"
Do you like the "finances" of almost a half century of failed trickle down voodoo economics too?
They have taken completely insane positions and "normalized" them. The left has really deteriorated even further in the last three years (who ever thought that was possible).

10. eliminating all student debt
11. returning the western US to Mexico
12. Returning the Louisiana Purchase to France and the remainder to England
13.Outlawing red meat
14. Outlawing exhaling, as it increases CO2
15. Eliminating the entire US Constitution and replacing it with the Quran
16. Outlawing capitalism
17. The only legal speech that will be allowed is praising communism, gays, minorities, trannies, and Muslims
18. Banning all private transportation and using only Mexican over-crowded buses for transport
19. Making witchcraft the national religion
20. Reducing the voting age to 3 and only use ballots with only liberals listed as candidates
