. You can say what you want, but the Republican Party is much further from being central than the Democrats are, no matter how left Progressives and the "Socialists" are.
Complete and utter BS. The media just lumps every right-leaning person into that category. Lay off the CNN.
I'm gay and in a same sex marriage for god's sake, and most of my friends are Republicans. Nobody even cares about same sex marriage anymore except the hardcore religious right, tea party type. If the right were going so far extreme people would be trying to roll back marriage equality among other social issues.

And the religious right is the tail leading the dog for the Republican Party and you know it. Just look at the abortion bans. If you don't see that you need to pay off the Fox. FYI, I don't watch CNN often. Maybe a YouTube video every once in a while...

I really disagree with you. It's 2019, church attendance is declining. The bible bangers can't stand it that they're being taken less and less seriously as time moves on. You think our President is a christian? lol. I hear he's thinking about axing Pence, which is good.
When you go to the extreme on either side it gets pretty nauseating fast.
Abortion I'm pro choice but I don't condone it. I will agree with you there, it's none of anyone's business. But it's not like Roe v Wade has been overturned, or that it ever will.
No, the religious right is not leading anything. Republicans are in power and the country is flourishing. Lots and lots of moderates out there like me, more than most people think.

Church is declining, but they are as loud and as out about the abominations as ever. There are a number (not as large as in the past mind you) who rant about the evils of homosexuality like Dr. Carson. The Roe v. Wade issue is as big as ever and many pray that it would be overturned. My former Catholic Church was against it and even had it in a prayer service that I was helping for my Pope Pius religious medal. I only went to that church once more in my life, for a funeral of a next door neighbor. And mind you, politically I was not a liberal then, I was leaning conservative at the time, I just felt that Church shouldn't influence state. I was pro-choice for issues of rape or health of the mother, I still am but I recognize that it is a woman's choice. I might not agree, but it isn't my business to say anything.
The problem is the religious right IS leading it. The majority of Republicans that vote in the primaries are religious. The Republican candidates flock to this market. This is why despite me actually liking Gov. Weld, I don't see Weld winning the nomination over Trump. He wont even have a shot in the primaries. This means because I'm not a Trump fan at all, I have to do what I did in 2016 and vote Democrat. There is no other choice and voting third party (especially if Johnson runs for Libertarian Party again) means it is a meaningless throwaway protest vote.
As for a flourishing economy, I see the same structural problems that existed under Obama and hasn't been fixed by Trump. If anything, Trump has made it worse. Democratic nominee Sen. Warren is saying it is 2007 all over again due to trends actually. This mind you, was something talked about prior to Trump winning for as long as I've been on C-D (2013.) However, once Trump won, many stopped saying it and now attack anyone saying what they did and claim they are "cheerleading for a crash." I am not, just stating what is out there.
You don't attack people and say they should leave their country, just because they have a low approval rating.
Or because they disapprove of some of your actions/policies.
I am pretty sure free speech, still applies to them. And other rights afforded to them through the Constitution.
She is breaking no law that I can see. (Other than having a thought or idea different from Trump and his followers.)
Democrats say when they are called out for being racist it is racist !!! Its pretty amazing the way they think. No doubt they believe it but they are grounded in outer space and a fantasy ideology so they can go anywhere and their butt never leaves the Lazy Boy Chair !!!
The clown squad say the most disgusting things about other people and then play the oppressed victim. They have Nerves Nancy right where they want her. Pulling her to the radical left and destroying the democrat party and the GOP is supposed to remain silent about it or they are racist.
Many in the GOP aren't falling for it this time having grown a spine over the last several years !!!
No doubt the clown squad approval ratings will go up as the racist climb on board for political gain !!!
Not everyone who is saying that his original 7/14 Tweets = a racist statement is a Democrat, and saying a statement that someone uttered is a racist statement isn't the same as saying that person is racist.
You (along with the MSM) are MISREPRESENTING what he said. The full quote was closer to “Go back to your country AND fix what is wrong before you tell us what is wrong with the US. Then come back and tell us how it’s done.” That may not be word for word but closer than you said. I’m sorry, but these women have proven - regardless of being born here or not- that they do NOT represent the interests of this country or Americans.
But holding those views doesn't make them any less Americans, whether you or I like it or not, as they (three of the four) were born here.
One of the best things about this country is free speech, which includes the right to criticize the government without feeling that one is going to be 'hauled away'.
