Last I read, only 16% of Americans believed in the mainstream media. Nearly everyone knows they are a propaganda machine for the Communists. Weird thing is, if they win, and America becomes Communist, they will be 1st in line to take a bullett to the head. Look back through history. As soon as a Communist takes power, they kill the media off as a first order of business...EVERY time.

So, what are these media boobs thinking? This time it will be different? Good luck with that.

Anyway, keep up the good work, Mr. Trump. But you still have another 5 years in office so don't start resting on your laurels just yet.
Keep up. Alternative is Kelly Anne;s word. Glad you admitting its the Trump administration making things up.

Recession ahead. We can fuss about whose fault it is, but that's where things are headed.

If that wasn't bad enough, Trump's economic brain trust to manage the coming recession "consists of a guy who plays an economist on TV, a crank who has been disowned by the (real) economics profession and the producer of “The Lego Batman Movie.”

This dream team is anchored by National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow, "an affable former CNBC personality." He seems able to communicate to financial markets, but alas, this is rendered moot by Trump’s inability to settle on any consistent message worthy of communicating.

Senior White House aide and trade adviser Peter Navarro, can "not name a single other economist who agreed with his views on trade. More recently, he suggested the Wall Street Journal editorial page sounded communist." You don't say.

Last but certainly not least, there’s Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. Whatever the artistic merits of bankrolling movies such as “Suicide Squad” and “The Lego Batman Movie," and having earned "the coveted title of greatest sycophant in Cabinet history" one wonders what relevance this background will bring to "rescuing the world from economic crisis.

The media can't spin a recession. One is going to happen at some point. These things come in cycles and there are factual economic indicators that are pointing towards one (inverted yield curb). Expecting there will never be one is a bit naive. And expecting the media to be quite about it is also naive.

The trade war isn't helping. And we have little wiggle room with interest rates so low now. But it would have happened anyway at some point.

What the media does do is blow things out of proportion a lot and act sensational. I blame it on the 24/7 news cycle where they all feel like they have to out do each other. All that "stock market plunges" news, ugh. It went down 800 points, yeah, that's a big number. Until you realize that it's just 3% and we are set back just a couple of months. It's not like 1987 where it went down 22%.

The Russia narrative has failed and impeachment has stalled, so this is why we're seeing the push by the media and the Democrats of racism and economic failure.

I really hope that the economy just continues to sputter without going into full recession long enough for Trump to lose in 2020. It's going to be an epic disaster if the bottom falls out of this economy beforehand.

Wouldnt be surprised if the Left/fake news MSM go all in on this next since Mueller time was a failure. They also possibly could keep staging mass shootings to keep the gun narrative front and center.

The market fell to a low of 7,882 on October 10th, 2008. I'm not concerned of it falling below 25,000 now. Also, there is a big difference between Wall St. and Main St. Wall St. moving investments to "safe havens" (end sarcasm) is what drove up fuel and food to record prices during the worst economy since the great depression, and was on the cusp of sinking the country entirely.

In the long term the trade war (how about we call it what it is, better balancing trade so its fair) is going to help re-kindle US manufacturing, offer more jobs, and rebuild our domestic tax base, but it's going to take time to do it and trust that these policies won't be overturned. No reason to move the factories back and hire the people if the Dems win and turn it all back overseas again. That trust isn't there right now, and therefore I believe is the only cause of any actual slowdown we are seeing now.

Media trying to spin ...

You give them far too much credit. The media can't spin a recession any more than it can 'spin' a plague. It reports what people do and what they think.
