The media isn’t spinning this. The media is reporting this. Trump and republicans will have no one to blame but themselves for the consequences of their actions.

Who is "someone" and exactly what could they do to accomplish that?

This is all on Trump, and Trump alone.

"They?"

Once again ... the media and liberals are not the ones creating conditions for a potential upcoming recession. Market forces are. The media is just reporting what is going on with those market forces.

I'm not sure why some people cannot understand that.

Americans are taking the hit.....the spread on Trump is growing by the minute over at 538 - and the polling doesn't yet reflect the growing realization that the loose cannon is destroying our savings......
Disapprove higher since the shutdown.

Yeah, it takes real stones to act as if forces other than Trump chaos, tweets and bad decisions are at play.

The problem is the crash is all going to blamed on Trump even though this has been in the making for decades. Trump is the perfect scapegoat because he brags about the markets and the "greatest economy ever" on a daily basis. The establishment will blame the crash on Trump, conservatism (even though Trump is not a fiscal conservative), and anti-establishment candidates. It is a dream narrative for the powers to be.

As I have said all along, the real issue is what comes AFTER Trump......

Like I said in mid-July.......

They? Isn't Wall Street and big businesses are pro Trump or republican administration, so who is they who is causing this. The economy is all Trump have.

Even if the that was true, which it’s not, the recession would still be trump’s fault.

The Mad Man Speaks:
Quote:
“CRAZY INVERTED YIELD CURVE!” the president wrote. “We should easily be reaping big Rewards & Gains, but the Fed is holding us back. We will Win!”

Trump also claimed “we are winning, big time” in his administration’s trade conflict with the world’s second-largest economy. “China is not our problem,” but rather “our problem is with the Fed” and its interest rate policy, he said.

I've run out of words to describe this moron - res ipse loquitur -

It's always someone else's fault.
