I make an argument, you reply with name calling. It makes me understand the attraction to Trump.
And what is your ..argument? If I may ask. Other than "I hate Trump?" Trump has in no way perverted or hijacked the flag as a symbol of racism or even nationalism as defined by the left. The flag still stands as a symbol of pride and rememberance of those who sacrificed all to see us a nation of free citizens.
That hasn't changed a bit under a Trump presidency. Not for the vast majority of us anyway. If you see the flag as having been hijacked by Trump I can't convince you otherwise but this perspective should be sufficient to respond to your "argument."

I disagree. The shirt does represent our country. Many who wear it do not. You might argue that I am trying to drive an elephant through the eye of a needle and I won't argue that you have no point but those who fly this flag, should also support the rainbow flag and really a long list of other things I rarely see them support.
The flag is supposed to represent freedom but so many who fly it IMO only care about the freedom they care about.

Our flag does NOT represent "go back where you came from". Especially when most of them came from here.
I guess Metallica and the US Men's Soccer team are a bunch of white supremist..
