Proof or you are making it up because it fits your view. The First Navy Jack has flown on US warships for decades. Racist too I suppose?

With this kind of craziness going on, I am not going to be surprised American flag would be next.

this is relatively simple stuff. Who flies the Gadsden Flag and for what reason.

That the flag is a historic symbol of the independent seekers is a good thing. But it can be and may have been misappropriated for other causes.

One can misappropriate a symbol and misuse it.

So someone explain why it is being used by white right wingers primarily.

And the navy jack shown above is a phoney from a century later. No snake or words on the real Navy Jack.

Interesting...
There are threads about this topic from way back in 2013.

Its pretty simple; the flag symbolizes freedom, rebellion against tyranny, not wanting to be ruled by government. Generally speaking the main philosophical differences between the parties is that the left wants more government and the right wants less government therefor it’s flown pretty much exclusively by republicans/libertarians. It has nothing to do with racism at all.

It seems to be beyond many Republicans, though.

If people like their symbols so much, call out racists when they co-opt it, whether it is the Gadsden Flag, the Betsy Ross Flag, the swastika, or Pepe the Frog.

I'm surprised Republicans even care about this anymore. Is anyone a Tea Partier in 2019? Trump has treaded on all of those ideas.

It has been on ships for decades recently which was my point. But you probably knew that.

Is this a joke? His entire campaign was a campaign against the government. Lowering taxes, decentralization, personal responsibility, deregulation, getting rid of Obamacare ,protecting private gun ownership, withdrawing from wars, free speech, “drain the swamp”, one of the first things he did was to put a hiring freeze on federal employees. He’s easily the most anti-government president of our lifetime.

So Tea Partiers were for a trillion dollar deficit during a recovery economy?

So basically Tea Partiers are dumb as stumps and can only figure out economics when it comes to taxes taken out of their paychecks?
