We are a democracy with the power to vote. It's OUR fault our government is full of life-long corrupted politicians. You have to ask yourself why they keep getting elected ?

The government is a reflection of ourselves. We vote them into office and condone their corrupted politics by re-electing them based on promises of pork for their constituents.

People don't follow politics anymore..they follow their party instead, blindly voting the party line.

While this is somewhat true, gerrymandering of congressional districts coupled with data mining technology to calculating likelihood of voter turnout based on demographics has helped turn DC into "Pyongyang on the Potomac".

SLCPUNK represents an element of the population that patriots are fighting against. When will radical left wing Marxists like SLCPUNK remove their heads from their butt and see what is really going on. If you idiots are not not part of the solution you are part of the problem. I am 77 years old and fully expect to have to shed blood to restore this country to its former greatness. There is NO question that Obama and his henchmen are hell bent to destroy and reform this country into a Marxist state with a one-world order. I do not believe we can restore this country at the voting booth... we (the conservatives) cannot even get the Republicans to unite into one conservative voice. We first need to weed out the moderate and liberal Republicans and then fight like hell with what we have to destroy the enemy within.... destroy the Marxists that hate our country. SLCPUNK... you are evil.

I wonder if they know it is against the law to advocate or assist in an attempt to bring down our government through force, many years in a Federal Prison or Death, depending on the actions taken, is the usual punishment.

So... by your standards, a good patriot just stands by while watching our country be "fundamentally transformed" into a Marxist state. Bull****!!
Our SOB president attained office by lying and has not stopped lying since.
If...i repeat, IF I am forced into taking up arms, and I pray this does not happen, I will do just that. I am 77 years old and remember fighting against the very same form of government we not have... a communists state. So,
stick your pompous, anti American comments. Freedom is not free... we must fight for it.

At 77, we can safetly state that you grew up during McCarthyism. We both grew up under the threat of the Cold War, BTW.

Let me remind you that the Bear is dead, as is the rather lame attempt to compare anyone to Communist Russia. That's like trying to compare Bush43 to Hitler.

Second, at your age, I won't bother trying to educate you on the differences of Socialism, marxism, Communism and Facism, or how they are compeletly different social ideologies.

BTW, at 477, can we assume you are on SSi? Perhaps enjoy Medicare? Both "socialist" programs instituted by "progressive marxist commie liberals" as you mihgt call the Dems who put those programs into place?

A good patriot is active in politics, writting his Representatives, writting into newspapers, spreading the word on internet forums, acting within the bounderies of the Laws of this Great Nation.

A good patriot doesn't advocate bloodshed just because "they" have control of government. A good patriot DOES, indeed, make changes at the voting both.

Fidel Castro is an example of "good patriot" who advocated bloodshed to make changes.

How would a revolution solve a currency collapse?

How would a revolution restore a default on the part of Social Security?

A revolution over "socialized healthcare," how asinine!

A Supreme Court ruling over gun rights when a legislative change would restore them, how stupid is that?

Such talk cheapens the concept of political repression to the most adolescent level.

When I think of what people have suffered through before resorting to a revolution, such talk sounds like the blatherings of a spoiled 15 year old.

The time for revolution is when all democratic measures are denied a people. If and when the enfranchisement of the people is curtailed, if and when political protest results in imprisonment without charge, torture and lack of due process, if and when all civil liberties are curtailed, call me, then we might have grounds for an adult conversation.

Most of these so called revolutionaries weigh around 280 points and would quickly surrender when they had to walk more than 20 feet or go 4 hours without McDonalds.
