Thats like saying democracy is very complex in nature. And that we should believe North Korea when they call themselves democratic and be afraid of democracy because of it.

Does it matter that we are not set up technically as a democracy?

The interviewer had obviously been briefed and trained as how to loudly talk over someone; how to intimidate someone; and had previously rehearsed possible responses so that he could immediately shove himself and the microphone in the guy's face.

It's a great comedy sketch for the likes of Jimmy Kimmel.

And no surprise if the entire clip was a setup and the man being interviewed rehearsed to trip over his words, and have a blank look on his face.

Nice try though.

Do you believe North Korea is a democracy because they label themselves that?

No, but Trump does not care. He is huckstering his brand.

Someone leaving the NC rally was asked what he thought, and said very seriously that he was concerned that if Trump makes the GOP look racist, the voters will elect the socialists. He said it as if it is a real political party, and Trump is sure not encouraging anyone to educate themselves.

Trump believes that he holds an edge if he keeps them believing only his words, declarations, and alternative facts and not their lying eyes.

At best, you might see a public option happen in 10 years time after big pharma and the insurance industry have spent billions fighting against it. But even that is unlikely even if a "far left candidate" becomes president. Thats how much power the billionaire class have compared to regular Joe Sixpack.
I'm not interested in the weeds or getting technical with definitions. Socialism is in the shade and on the road of Communism, which is the dead end of that road, where the dead stack up !!! I've seen it with my own eyes and nothing is going to influence my opinion on it more than my own experience with it !!!
No sell here !!!
Carry on !!!

So you have owned the means of production as a regular worker and your co-workers died?

Where did you see this?

Or did you buy into some propaganda from some dictator that called his endless greed and viciousness for socialism and democracy for propaganda purposes to appeal to the workers, so you believe the dictator?

It would have violate city policy !!!
So what is it ?
Is the word community now racist or just when the two words are connected ? Absurd in the extreme !!!

You were reaching OP with this thread and got a handful of desperation and lunacy !!! Good job !!!

Looks like you are one of the best the left has !!! I celebrate you and hope to see more !!!

Its always pleasant to see the left running campaign adds for Trump !!!
I love it you when show favoritism for party over country.

A capitalist system without any form of safety net is the true stepping stone to socialism, workers taking things into their own hands and revolting. Thats what the ruling class is truly afraid of.

I can't rep you enough!!

One of the best posts I have seen in a Looooooong time here!

My countries largest party used to travel to Communist Soviet in the 20s-30s in their dream of forming a true Communist Party in my country.. but where witnessing that everything was NOT rosy red in the USSR. When they gained power in 1935, they wisely decided not to go completely Red, but understood that the people needed a safety net in a capitalistic society, if not, to much power where accumulating at the top and the people where awfully close to revolting.

After WW2, they where re-elected, nationalized most of the things the Germans had built, and rebuilt the country with very limited means. All the while insuring that people had a safety net if they needed it.

And today.. we are even further away from communism... Highly capitalistic, easy for companies to do business in, but one of the best countries for working conditions for workers, rights, unions, holidays, healthcare and so on and so on.

Everybody is taxed and everybody gets help when they need it..
