Usually police officers are allowed to carry in places most people would not be allowed. Bars, government buildings, even airplanes.

Hopefully the officer will remember this if he ever pulls his gun on someone.

Um...it is the left wing that makes unrelated issues about race, not the right. But thanks for playing.

More than anything else this looks like one more ignorant fool that has a hard-on for law enforcement. But none of us know based on that article.

Like I said, you don't farm out security for something like an IRS office. I'm not even a fan of allowing rent a cops to have a gun in a situation like this.
No a cop can't. In fact he broke federal law entering with his gun. The security guard asked him to leave his gun outside, that is the rule. The cop refused. The cop was in the wrong.

He is a security guard. Not sure why that would be a hate cops incident.

Nope. The officer exited when asked to leave the gun outside. The security guard is facing criminal charges for following him out with the gun to his back.

Will people who are racist ever recognize that possibility ? Especially in election season !!!

I wonder what the odds are of that ?

I do not know that to be the case. We do need to know before making a judgement. I always assumed police officers were permitted but since I do not know I wondered.

I wasn't even permitted to wear in my steel toe shoes.

Cops are not allowed in armed, IRS, Social Security, etc. I saw one stopped from entering a soc sec office.

Either way. The sheriff exited when asked to leave the gun outside. So the security guard was still in the wrong.
