She is certainly something and she brings her religion in to how she "feels" about Israel:

I'm Jewish and I would never deny that Israel has done terrible things. Why should Omar not have the freedom to speak her mind on a very politically charged controversial issue that many feel the same way about? Because she is Muslim? Sorry...that does not fly.
