1)An extremely biased left wing news media that continuously puts out fake news and lies to push their agenda.

2)A refusal of both parties to take a long term view of the economy and stop excessive government spending.

3)Government meddling and control of issues that they have no business being involved in. An example is health care. There is no way the government should be involved in any aspect of health care! Federal government should be limited to a few necessary functions such as national defense.

Our plurality voting system. It fosters political extremes who are motivated to drag the nation in one direction or the other, so we end up with constant political cycles, moving back and forth between the left and the right. European Parliaments encompass multiple parties, and majorities are built through alliances that require compromise policies.

I will second that.

Nowadays we have highly partisan media outlets and their respective tribal leaders and followers. It’s dividing America into warring factions.

in 1987 the FCC changed the "fair play" doctrine allowing for entities such as Fox News" to come into being..that and the fact that cable tv may not even come under control of FCC...the simplest FIX that would have an effect on the electorate.....of course jerry springer new may keep some republicans but would have banners labeled entertainment across the bottom lol

Minority rule, achieved through gerrymandering and the ancient electoral college.

Wealth Gap

If everything wasn't so expensive for the average American and you can raise a family on one income a lot of problems would fix themselves.

Business' wouldn't need to hire the cheapest labor they can find and a person could retire after working for the same company their whole lives. Not forced into early retirement or fired for a cheaper worker.

Anxiety and Depression in society wouldn't be so high and all the bad habits that come with it would diminish.

I'm not apposed to Billionaire's, you need some big industry to grow. It's being in it just for profits over quality that's the problem.
