Boy do you all get triggered by AOC.

What you aren't seeing or reading or understanding...while AOC and the squad triggers Trump fans.....those inclined not to be so emotionally wrapped up in Trump don't have the same triggers.

AOC, the Squad for anyone NOT in their constituency may say and do annoying things ...but they are harmless. They are good at giving Trump something to attack because he can't discuss and address policy in any kind of substantive way. He needs to be able to have someone to personally attack.

But for people not wrapped up in Trump......yeah AOC & the Squad can say some weird stuff...but not a threat to anybody.

Relax.......

I think AOC has the edge here. Pelosi have lately been living on the leftist agenda, but AOC is basically the younger more fierce (and more extreme) proponent of basically the same positions. It's also a good timing for AOC, as she is riding the edge of the same direction the pendulum is currently swinging among hardcore social-"liberals".

I would be surprised if "the squad" doesn't sway a lot of older dems simply because they are politically afraid of them. The squad as an additional advantage, AOC among others platform was basically about taking up the fight not just with republicans but also against democrats who aren't strongly enough emphasizing certain key points. AOC did not throw a republican out of office when she got elected, but rather an old gray haired democrat who wasn't SJW enough.

Pelosi on the other hand only have losing outcomes from a fight.

My friends who are open about being Democrats, like I am, all talk about how the party has been hijacked by nutjobs and these four need muzzles.

You don't speak for everyone who isn't a Trump fan, so speak for yourself.

I agree with this. Bill Maher seem to be on the same trail, the "Moderate democrat" is getting pushed out slowly.

I also think people like AOC may be the greatest campaigners for a second term of Trump white house. While their fans get more content with them, that puddle of fans get smaller when those in between get pushed to the other side.

I love AOC. She is the gift that keeps giving for the GOP. Every time she opens her mouth she pushes the Democrats further and further out of the mainstream. Think about how radical the Democratic party has become. Plus she is not bad to look at lol!!!

That's where you are totally wrong. The Squad is really alienating other Democrats because with so much media attention, we feel like this is the future of the Democratic party and we don't like it. Those of us who remember what it really meant to be a Democrat are shying away from the party and voting Republican or 3rd party. At this point - I won't give up my affiliation because it at least allows me to vote against a left leaner during primaries and vote for the more moderate candidate.

So yes - more than just Trump supporters are triggered.

The people who created the Justice Democrats, have for YEARS talked about a Scandinavian type economy/system.
What they are running on, are basically Scandinavian type economy.

Capitalistic with a strong safety net, that favors workers and not the 0.1% of top earners.

And Republicans are calling them Communists, Socialists, Jihadi Terrorists..

Yeah... we have it REEEEEAL bad over here.

We heard a lot about the Silent Majority who voted for Trump back in 16. For the past year or so I have been hoping that there was also a SM of liberal Democrats out there.

Those who looked at Trump and were put off by him, but who also looked at the direction their own party was taking and are thinking "I'm not sure I want to vote for Trump, but I'm DAMNED sure that I don't want to vote for THAT" (far left Ds pushing far left agendas).

Given the high pitched Impeach Trump - Trumps A Nazi - Trumps a Russian Agent - Concentration Camps - Toilet Water - Farting Cows - Worlds Ending In 12 Years - This Is Our Normandy - Women / Gays / Trans / Muslims / Illegals / Blacks Are All Victims - Toxic Masculinity and Toxic White Male screeching from the left, and given the media hype and almost complete agenda bias - it is easy to believe that half the country has gone mad.

It's easy to believe that.

But I don't believe that.

I believe that there really is a Silent Majority made up of liberals and conservatives - the vast majority in this country who are slightly left of center and slightly right of center. And I believe that the citizens of this country will make sounder decisions in 2020 than the sewer rats that represent their parties. Americans are not sheep. Not all of them. Not even most of them. They won't vote as they are told. They will vote as they please. Because...........'Murica Baby.

AOC and Pelosi to meet, address House Dem infighting between far left, moderates

'The Squad' renews feud with Nancy Pelosi
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will meet Friday with far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in an effort to stop the recent infighting between the Democratic Party's progressive and moderate blocs in the lower chamber of Congress.
You don't understand how this Speaker of the House thing works, do you?

Who will hold the gavel is not in question. At all.
