  • Moscow police started arresting people at today's rally as they were previously warned.
This had nothing to do with the election as alleged by the OP. It had to do with violating Moscow city law. And they were warned more than 2 weeks ago not to do it again.

Almost 300 people detained for participation in Moscow’s unauthorized rally

(it amazes me that the leftists continue to believe the crooked MSM without thought or question)
Opps nasty facts anyway.

Not exactly a "new" idea -- some of us can recall the protests of intellectuals such as (Andrei) Sinvavsky and (Yuri) Daniel back in the late Sixties,

The failures of the Left-leaning would-be "opinion leaders" who seek to lead the Snowflakes around by the nose merely serves to demonstrate their hypocrisy.

Back in the olden days, our pols would speak out LOUD about such things...and the people here would be with them. Hopefully Mr. Tweet will use some bigly words to denounce this.
Accusations are that the election board unfairly disqualified opposition candidates for faked signatures on their nominating petitions. You see that all the time in the local races in the US races as well.

The Democrats are such hypocrites. We can influence and sway another countries elections but if they try the same here in the states that is a huge problem.

I can't help but wonder if Hillary had won if we would have heard a peep about Russian collusion? Of course not.
Actually the bill to stop election interference into our elections was bipartisan, so Republicans don't want this happening again either but, we have a president who welcomed Russian help and we have Mitch Mcconnell who buried election bills to prevent Russian interference. Dealing with hypotheticals such as what Hillary would have done isn't helping. Who cares anyway? Everyone should be wondering WHY Moscow Mitch did this.

Of course they didn't have a permit. You think Putin's regime is going to allow any sort of opposition rally?

Are you really taking Russian state propaganda at face value now?

Should Trump ask Obama to oversee federal elections this time? He didn't do it last time, when he was President, should he get another chance?

LAWL. You got Putin on the membrane. He has nothing to do with the Moscow city government.

That nonsense from The Guardian was bogus.

I doubt that Putin is too concerned. He probably has stockpiles of polonium-210.
