Bubonic plague just seems to break out in the Western US, so more of a regional thing.

"Most human cases in the United States occur in two regions:

Northern New Mexico, northern Arizona, and southern Colorado
California, southern Oregon, and far western Nevada"

There have also been a case in Idaho, and cats in Wyoming are getting it.

The demographic makeup in the high crime areas of Baltimore is pretty bad.

It is very difficult for these people to live in a civilized, modern society.

Trump's idea of what it means to "clean up" is laughable. Trump towers? This is the man with gold toilets so he can dump his unhealthy fast food hamberders while tweeting foolishness on his cell phone.

The full demographic picture of ANY area beset by horrible pathologies is pretty bad.

Whether it be an inner city project, an Indian reservation or a Middle American town that has lost all of its industries and good paying jobs.

That’s nothing new.

Trump spoke the truth, its too bad that house members aren't visiting cities in decline advocating for a massive clean up or helping our citizens who live in these inner cites.

It has nothing to do with race, that's only being brought up to ignore the truth of what Trump tweeted.

This may be somewhere in the 15 pages of comments but here goes......

Trump told this politician elected by his voters to represent them at the FEDERAL level -- to go back and fix his own community.

Hang on.....Cummings ran on the federal level to influence policy to help his district.

His role as an elected official is not to state in his district and try to fix it. His role is most definitely, unquestionably to be in Washington fighting for what he thinks is best for his constituents.

I don't know who the state official in the area is or at the municipal level -- they most definitely are elected to work on state and local issues to benefit the community.

Trump has no clue how this works.

oh and one more thing.

If Trump could identify specifically a policy that Cummings is not supporting or supporting that is detrimental to his community then that's a different story.

I'd guess Trump Towers has far fewer rats running around than Baltimore.

Trump wasn't suggesting a policy to revamp declining communities.

He was making a personal attack on someone who attacked the conditions at the border.

Nice try.

You are all better at spinning than Trump is

What is Trump doing for those communities?

He's as responsible for helping all of our communities as their elected officials are.

Or are you saying he's only responsible for the nice parts of the USA?

Typically despicable stuff from Trump.
