Yes, you are correct. I wince when I hear the way he describes things sometimes. Other times I cheer. He can somehow make discussion of puppies something people can fight over. There is zero eloquence in his speaking style. Sometimes my husband and I watch a few minutes of his rallies and honestly we just laugh and laugh. He’s an entertaining and goofy guy. But racist? I don’t believe it. Prejudiced maybe, but not a racist.

I don't get racist from him. He does sound like a buffoon at times. He says stupid sounding words like "bigly" and a few others. He's a classic blowhard is how he comes off to me.

Not eloquent, not presidential at all, but whatever. I guess this is new the standard now.

When he starts going off the teleprompter and just starts talking, we call it “riffing”, like a guitarist who picks up a guitar and begins idly playing. We say “listen to that ole fool riffing for the crowd”.

I wish he was a better speaker, but on the other hand, I sense that much of what he says comes from his heart, right or wrong. His words feel authentic to me, even when I’m laughing or rolling my eyes at him. I appreciate that. He doesn’t hide his feelings on ANYTHING. There’s a natural genuineness about Trump that I find refreshing, when we’re used to handsome shirt and tie slick politicians who lie every time they open their mouth.

1) Someone throws shade at Trump.

3) Trump gets called a racist.

It’s the same thing, over and over and over again. Three years of it. Next week it will be another incident. It’s endless. It’s pointless. It’s stupid.
Yep, different week same script. That's why I stopped watching Morning Joe, since Trump was elected Joe and Mika have been on the same hate spewed venomous crazy rants, actually pathetic rants. A different day, same script.

Tried to rep you but I must spread the love around.

LOL.

I think some of the feuds he gets involved in are entertaining to the general public, entertaining from his POV, and entertaining from the POV of the person he is feuding with (thinking his feud with Rosie O'Donnell), but on the flip side, a number of the feuds he chooses to get involved in prompt me to facepalm.
