The truth hurts. No one would scream about racism if there wasn't truth to what he said. Saying something that is blatantly untrue will never get you called a racist. If Trump said that Baltimore is a shining example of a clean, low-crime, well-run city, not only would no one call him racist, the Left would probably cheer him for his lies.

I don't think anyone but republicans are 'afraid' of Trump. He is a bully and a spoiled manchild but, not scary at all, Although he has said he goes with his gut and we all know he doesn't listen to his intelligence. That could get scary but, Trump the person? meh

Confidence is easily misunderstood. If you have it you immediately recognize it, if you don't, well...

President Trump defined Baltimore's livable conditions as deplorable he did not mention one word about anyone's ethnicity.

Those who are President Trump haters (i.e., Cummings) jumped on the bandwagon and declared that President Trump is a racist. They are the true racists because they immediately equated deplorable to the African American and/or any minority group.

However, when Cummings and the Baltimore Sun stated their city is a trash heap no one complained that they were racist. Typical double standard of the left.

President Trump was telling Cummings to clean up his own location before bashing the border control of ILLEGAL ALIENS!

Seems to me everywhere blacks are the majority becomes a dump very quickly. But you can't notice it or you're racist!

Calling Baltimore a "dump" is not in itself a racist statement. What is disturbing is that President Trump is only calling Baltimore a dump because he's crass. I would not like it if some politician came to my city and called my city a dump. I might know the city is in bad shape, but someone from the outside calling it a dump is insulting. I will take it very personal. No, I'm not from Baltimore. Never been there. I'm just talking about my own reaction.

Can one no longer speak the truth in the eyes of modern day leftists? If you don't acknowledge a fact, can a problem ever be solved?

Is calling parts of Appalachia a dump "racist" as well? The Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful, but many parts of Appalachia are dumps- trust me- we hike there all the time. The North Carolina area can actually be pretty wealthy, but far eastern TN, far western VA and WV can be pretty dumpy. Racist?

MANY of these congressmen go on the attack and are so focuses on partisan political issues, that they neglect their own districts and what can be done for them.

Instead of wanting open borders and freebies for illegals, why don't Cummings and AOC focus on helping their districts, which obviously need a lot of help. Are they neglecting their duties as Congressmen?
Democrats need the African American vote but they have nothing to off so their goal is to turn them against Trump. That is all it is. And for some all they need is the accusation of racism and they believe it. As the left have always done, accused then convicted without proof.
