OOPS!

Say it ain't so Joe!

Quote:
Former vice president Joe Biden faces increased scrutiny on his son Hunter’s shady business deals in the Ukraine and China, but it’s not the first time the Bidens’ conflict of interest has caused problems in a presidential campaign.

More than a decade ago, Tom Brokaw asked Biden to his face about a different arrangement with a Delaware credit company called MBNA, which hired Hunter on a six-figure salary and paid then Sen. Joe Biden hundreds of thousands more in campaign contributions to win his favor.

Ibrahim (@ibrahimpols) October 5, 2019

Ibrahim posted to Twitter with a video of the exchange.

The video features Brokaw highlighting a Wall Street Journal story from August 25, 2008 that pointed out “Biden’s candidacy … is bringing new scrutiny to his family’s business dealings, especially those of his son Hunter, 38 years old.”

I think you, and the article, are very much exaggerating and misleading here. Let's be clear that asking if something is "inappropriate" is not the same thing as calling it "corrupt."

But what really makes me smile is that Hunter's doings are so minor compared to what's been going on for decades in the Trump family. Hunter's activities might have raised an eyebrow then, but I can't even imagine what Brokaw would say about the Trump nepotism today.

Biden's corruption goes back a long way. Michelle Malkin has a chapter on it in her book Culture of Corruption. He was indeed often known as "The Senator from MNBA." MNBA was a massive financial company based in Delaware, that was bought out by Bank of America in 2006.

Biden, despite being a lifelong public servant, lives in a $3 million lakefront home, which he acquired in part through shady dealings with real estate interests. The deals are detailed by Malkin in her book.

This is a guy who got caught in blatant plagiarism the first time he ran for president. Elizabeth Warren is not without her flaws as well, but she is a much better candidate for the honest progressive.

If Hillary would have been elected in '16 this country would be destroyed. Finished. Done. Toast.

Yup. There a lot more elected politicians using their power of office as leverage to enrich their family members, or to enrich their big campaign donors. Trump is a threat to all of these corrptocrats, Republicans and Democrats.

Guess having his daughter and son-in-law ensconced in the WH is not an issue for you? Guess having dignitaries and diplomats staying at Trump properties, filling their pockets, is not an issue for you? Good to know. You guys are so funny. Trump is the most corrupt businessman there is, and he's a threat to the corptocrats. Hahahaha That's rich.

Hilary would have continued the corrupt practices of the past.

If people think the overwhelming power of the executive agencies was abused under JFK, LBJ or Obama?? They would have been fine tuned as a weapon to destroy political enemies, under a President Hilary administration. Trump has been able to uncover the abuse by the deep state, and he's hated and despised for it.
