I'm not a meat head and I call Trump supporters freedom loving law abiding, proud of our Nation, Flag supporting, Constitution respecting hard working Americans.
The Dems have nothing left to throw at Trump so they are pounding this racist claim to death.
Because with this constant rant of racism against trump and his supporters....someone is going to get seriously hurt or killed!
If someone wants racism to be removed from their reputation, the first step would be to stop making and supporting statements and actions that are racist and xenophobic
Yep. It was quite odd to see racism being displayed by a black person being shown on tv back then.
I never did understand why conservatives liked the Archie Bunker show when it was clear that the character of AB was promoting a false narrative of conservative people. He was mocking them, exaggerating the behaviors they were promoting as prejudices.
Ah that's an easy one. He was presented as a bigot but also as a lovable bigot, and a good but flawed human being. At the time most people, conservative or not, wanted to update their thinking to be less bigoted, so they could identify with him. We had not yet reached the point where we were trying to punish white people for being evil so exposing a prejudice was not yet seen as a condemnation of the entire person or as an exposure of someone whose life needed to be destroyed in the name of social justice.

I don't think most people give a damn and just want to get on with their daily routine. Fox News primetime viewers amount to less than 1% of the population quite well proves it. Probably even less hang out here.

Rob Reiner had been hoping for a position in Hillary's government, since he is a big Demwit donor. Now he doesn't know what to do with his looooong days.
There is little doubt in my mind that a significant portion of Trumps followers are racist, because Trump's hard-right conservative policies are agreeable to them. But I don't believe that (racism) is true of all of them, having known several Trump followers myself. You can't just assume a Trump follower is racist. That's just ignorant prejudice.
Many years ago, I went to Boston to visit my sister. She was not home when I arrived, so I sat on the stoop waiting. A black guy, older (and presumably wiser) was sitting there too. Picture Mr Wendell. (Sure most of you have No Idea who Mr Wendell is.) We got to talking and racism came up. He was like -- yah you northerners are the worst. You think you are so cool. Who a racist? Not me! While talking to a black man as if you have authority on the subject of problems with the black communities. At least in Georgia you KNEW they just wanted to kill you anyway they could. They never pretended to see you as human while decidedly not doing so.
I posit you have no idea what a racist looks like.
I'm sorta bored of the Hollywood limousine liberal crowd. They take themselves way too seriously.
