My thoughts are they didn’t charge him on leaking classified documents because that’s the lesser crime compared to potential FISA-related charges. If it can be proven he knowingly misrepresented the FISA doc as fact to the courts, that’s hard time for Comey. And I think Barr believes he can prove it.

So, there is now classified material out there. And BTW, if you are taking notes about a classified investigation, even your own personal notes, you have to classy your notes....

Declassified documents might have already been released to Devin Nunes, who needs time to go over them before the public sees them.

Maybe you have a list of those other crimes, maybe Hannity will have them tonight.

It's kind of a problem to prosecute people when they haven't done anything wrong.

Two separate issues. One report has to do the the Comey memos. The other report, the IG Report, will be about the FISA warrant abuses. That will be the bombshell one because many other people besides Comey are involved.

One comment I read:

They don’t want to prosecute these potential smaller crimes while they are still assembling the bigger cases. Partly because actual charges / indictments would kick off Discovery. Which could be bad timing. And would let all the main perps know Judgement Day was here. There just may be enough info in “discovery” that is imperative to substantiate another more serious crime.
