And those aren't always innocent milkshakes. They often include pepper spray and cement, which can do great damage to eyes.

there's not much evidence YET that the young man was a right-wing extremist. Just 1 facebook post encouraging folks to read a 130 year old book about Darwinistic behavior, including the supposed inferiority of POC. We don't even know if he read it, what other extremist channels he participated in, etc.
but as others note, it's a far leap to suggest getting assaulted in one manner that doesn't cause death has any relation to Gilroy.
