This is very strange

Marijuana and firearms are a potentially deadly mix,” Terwilliger said in a statement. “If you are a drug user, you are prohibited by federal law from possessing a firearm. Simple as that.”

It appears that every pot smoker in the USA, according to Trump Law, gives up their 2nd Amendment rights when they take a toke.

This can't be. How could the GOP and NRA allow it?

Here, for example, is Red State MO.

"The Gun Control Act of 1968 maintains the “unlawful use” of all substances on “Schedule 1” prohibits gun ownership, because under federal law it is not possible to use cannabis lawfully."

Hopefully none of you gun owners ever take a toke or an opiate you got from a friend or family member...or meth or coke or any of the many substances named.

No worries.

PS - Whose family passes drugs around to their relatives. Sounds quite trashy.

PPS - Bank robbers are also forbidden to own guns. Better not hit the local branch with great Aunt Ida.

I'm not sure what's strange: illegal drugs and illegal obtained firearms. Presumably, by "drug user," he meant "convicted criminal."

I saw a great bumper sticker the other day.

It was "I support the right of gay married couples to protect their marijuana plants with guns."

Stoners and tweekers usually have other crimes on their records too, but simply lying on the federal form about drug use is also a crime.

I know libs don't want law abiding citizens to own firearms under Constitutional Law, but I always thought they were ok with criminals having them

I will support your right to own a firearm under Constitutional law. Will you support my right to own some pot plants?

Not new and has basically nothing to do with Trump.

Take your meds.

Interesting when two big conservative causes, maintaining cannabis prohibition and expanding second amendment rights, come into conflict.
