The only disgrace to this country I can think of is Donald Trump and his entire family (sans Barron, as he's just a kid still).
I no longer live in California but it is my home state and there is no reason to be ashamed of the state that contributes and pays more taxes to the economy of this country than any other state. California is home to the 5th largest economy in the WORLD. That's nothing to sneeze at.

This is my perspective when reading your posts, BucFan.
First, he acts like a @Q#$@#% to an American City, Baltimore.
Now, he is doing it to a whole state.
It doesn't sound like he loves America to me, sounds like he hates it, actually.
By his own words, maybe he should love it or leave.
They are apart of America, whether he likes it or not, he is only interested in insulting them and trying to bring them down.
Pathetic, for a President to do that to his own cities and states.

He is the least 'Presidential' President to hold Office in modern times. I have never, ever heard of a president insulting entire regions of the country they are supposed to be leading. He's childish, vindictive, and behaves like a schoolyard bully.
I'm still angry over the things he said about California during their last fire season. He said them even as people were losing their lives, their pets, their homes, and their entire livelihoods!
He's despicable and completely untrustworthy. That he is within even striking distance of this country's nuclear codes SHOULD scare the hell out of any rational person.

The homeless problem is deeply tied into our drug problem, and both are even more deeply tied to into our relative lack of access to mental health services compared to the rest of the civilized world.
In a country where no one gives a crap about their neighbor as long as they have theirs, is it any wonder?
We should look to places with higher indices for Happiness and Quality of Life. 'Murica isn't the end all be all and #45's policies are making it that much worse for our most vulnerable citizens.
I've live in Calif. for a very long time and I have seen it change and not in a good way. Sure we have good climate and access to all the things you mentioned but many cities and towns are being turned into dumps now. It's shameful.

No. I will not leave. I will stay and VOTE. It's our duty as Americans to use our collective voice to improve the things we see that are wrong.
