Of course, it is. He was the one who complained that the influx of millions of dependent migrants will make it harder to achieve ambitious social projects like universal health care and UBI.

He had an anti-immigrant agenda, just like you and your messiah (Trump). He was trying to use welfare costs as a justification for his hate, which is exactly what the right-wingers always do when they talk about the cost of immigration.
Nope. Read what he says about immigrants:

"...the idea of deporting or murdering all non-white Americans is horrific. Many have been here as long as the whites, and have done as much to build our country."

It would do many on the left good to stop mindlessly parroting LSM (Left Stream Media) lies and start thinking for yourselves.

While I agree with your statement, don't forget Charles Manson also didn't kill anyone, but got the death penalty, later changed to life in prison for telling people to kill other people. And a woman who encouraged her boyfriend to kill himself via text (which he did) was recently sentenced to 15 months in jail.

Yeah/ Look at what source he cited to start this topic. The deranged leftists at CNN. They create fodder for the stupid, weak minded and easily influenced.

Now that it's come out the shooter actually a leftist progressive, they will run and hide just like the crybabies here who want to blame it on Trump.

Beto is a pandering idiot who couldn't beat Lying Ted Cruz with $80,000,000. And now he got this one wrong too. He wanted Universal Heath Care and Universal Basic Income. That's leftist stuff.

From his manifesto.
In the near future, America will have to initiate a basic universal income to prevent widespread poverty and civil unrest as people lose their jobs (to automation). Joblessness is in itself a source of civil unrest. The less dependents on a government welfare system, the lower the unemployment rate, the better. Achieving ambitious social projects like universal healthcare and UBI would become far more likely to succeed if tens of millions of defendants are removed.”
AND
“The decimation of our environment is creating a massive burden for future generations. Corporations are heading the destruction of our environment by shamelessly overharvesting resources.”
AND
“I am against race mixing because it destroys genetic diversity and creates identity problems….But the idea of deporting or murdering all non-white Americans is horrific. Many have been here as long as the whites, and have done as much to build our country. The best solution to this for now would be to divide America int a confederacy of territories with at least 1 territory for each race.”
The Left Including "beh toe" have been spouting out this sort of nonsense for the last 3 years. And of course we get the usual suspects here to can't help themselves but to blame it on Trump.

I suspect this topic will die now because the Trump haters absolutely can't stand being called out on their own nonsense. And to the 26 people who voted "yes" it is YOU who are the problem.

And I'm betting that the link the OP used to create this from CNN doesn't have any of this.

MS13 Guatemalans here illegally are responsible for mass shootings all the time. How come that doesn't fit a narrative? Why don't those mass shootings make the evening news?

MS 13 specifically is responsible for over 200 murders in the past decade. That's more than 20 per year. Or equivalent to one El Paso Wal-Mart per year, but the narrative is never about that is it?
MS13 here in America isn't even remotely close to what they are doing in the prisons of Brasil, Guatemala, and Honduras... They are learning some of the most barbaric ways to become inhuman through torture/murder and then bringing that destruction and mindset to America. If you want to spend hours puking one night google "brazillian prison violence"...

The cost illegal immigration and strain on social services is one of the most often repeated right wing talking points. Trump brings is up at every campaign rally, which is why the killers manifesto reads EXACTLY like Trump campaign speech.

How can you not know that?

You are making it up. i.e. "I'll create a fallacious "right wing bogyman", attribute some negative action to it, then I win argument".

I would say that this shooting was purely the fault of Beto and all the liberals who want open borders and to let in ALL of Central America. Americans are extremely frustrated with how the Dems want to allow illegals and their DACA children in our country, and for American taxpayers to have to spend their hard earned money housing, feeding and educating this endless stream of need. Close the border to illegals and deport them ASAP. And enough with these faux asylum seekers. Being impoverished is not a reason for asylum. Living in a gang controlled area is also not a reason for asylum. America has their own chronically impoverished living in gang infested neighborhoods (Chicago) and we have our own domestic abuse victims to protect (everywhere).

So yeah, America's frustrations with the Central American invasion are the fault of bleeding heart Democrats and their immigration attitudes.

And BTW I know more than a few members of the black community who are also frustrated that the Dems seem to care more about illegals and DACAs than working on fixing the problems in the black community.

And what about our Native Americans? Do you really think that they want open borders? IMO the liberals and our Statue of Liberty have no right to extend an open invitation to these southern migrants.

So these frustrations are not solely a white supremacy issue or Trump's fault. And Trump wouldn't be president, had it not been for these frustrations with the Democratic party and their spendthrift ways.

Those of you who would lay the blame at Trump's feet are exhibiting the same mentality as a lot of these shooters - the inability to take personal responsibility for actions. There's not a lot of difference between this screw-up blaming illegals for his woes, and you guys blaming Trump for every perceived wrong in this country. The list is long; you blame him for every stock market slump, every company that closes, hurricanes, and losing your car keys.

Since when has Trump ever bemoaned the fact that the influx of millions of financially dependent migrants will make it harder to achieve the ambitious social projects of universal health care and UBI? The El Paso shooter did in his manifesto.

I have no clue why you think left-wing talking points = a Trump campaign speech. It completely defies logic and exposes a very clear lack of critical thinking skills.
